Rir cross ? Gender ideas?

Would this be sex linked and could the boys make another sex link with a pbr or cl?

This cross isn’t sex-linked. It’s still possible one or more of the white chicks are cockerels, though they look like pullets so far.
However, you can breed a BR or cream legbar hen to one of the above non-white cockerels to get black sex links (barred male chicks and unbarred female chicks).

Ok. Thank. I'll try to ask if there was any other cockerels with the hens when I can. Could the white ones be leghorn? Wait nvm as it came from a pale egg. Any ideas what the black one can be?

Depends on what possible mothers there are.

Hey everyone. The chicks are near enough 6 months now. I'll show you what they look like now. The light sussex was a boy as well. Not 100% though. Already done a post on that. Anyways the red one is starting to get busy with the hens and the black one (now guessing is a copper maran) is just starting but doesn't have experience. Both of those I've seen crowing and all the hens been bred by then as well.
Here's most of them.

Neither the black or the white cockerel are purebred. A purebred sussex wouldn’t have red leakage, and a purebred marans would have a different coloration (and white legs, though I can’t tell what color his are from that picture). They both look like RIR mixes to me.

Yeah, he’s not a marans. Marans have white legs.
