    My Rhode Island is much darker and she’s squatting. So, he looks like a rooster. He’s very beautiful!

    If she is that old, there is no doubt she's a hen. A rooster at that age would have long, pointed saddle and hackle feathers, not a mention a long tail and well developed spurs.

    If it is 1.5 years old i would say pullet. A rooster should have tail feathers by then
