I am new to raising chickens and have 6 RIR’s. They are about 18 weeks old now and last Thursday (9/23/21) one of the girls layed her first egg in the coop. 2 days later (Saturday) I found egg #2 but the shell was not fully formed. It’s now Tuesday and no other eggs have been layed. I keep them in the run until noon each day then let them free range for a few hours before going back in run/coop for night. I have hunted everywhere and cannot find any eggs. Is this normal and how long before I should be worried. Everyone is acting normal, eating and drinking. Oyster shells and grit have been out for them since the day I found first egg. Just nervous I guess. Thanks for feedback!

It's normal for new layers to have glitchy eggs, shell issues, erratic laying schedules, etc. So I wouldn't worry about it too much as long as the birds are active and bright eyed and eating and drinking well.
