Anyone have any photos of this sex-link cross? I'm thinking about getting me some but dont know if they breed to look the same everytime.

Those are black rock hens right? I'm talking about white rock hen to a RIR rooster.

Sorry, when you wrote "Plymouth Rock Hen" I presumed you meant a Barred Plymouth Rock hen with a RIR male, as this is one of the most frequent sex link crosses. [IMG]
The link I sent was from UK where this particular sex link cross is known as a "Black Rock Hybrid".

Are White Plymouth Rocks silver like the White Rhodies?

The one on the right red and white at about 18 weeks old. She is now all red except white dots around neck feathers and white tipped red tail feathers. Some lighter red feathers through out her body. She was totally white as a chick and didn't show any red feathers until she sprouted her neck feathers.

Roosters from this cross are always white and females look like this photo: I just hatched this cross between and RIR Roo and a White Rock Hen on Jan 28th. This one of my favorite pullets.
I gave away the roos before taking a picture.
