RIR's - Production?? Look ready to lay?

They are RIR hens... I got 3 from a feed store; 3 from a local farmer... The "feedstore 3" are 17 weeks and have more of that "production" lighter feather look (I've learned from this site) than the other 3 which are 20weeks... Do the "older 3" look ready to lay and do they look like authentic RIR's? I hope my pics are okay, they move around alot!!

they do look very much like RIR's and they also look like they could lay soon too! start checking for eggs

I think the ones in the top two pics(can't tell much about the others) do look like the real RIRs. I like the ones with the really dark necks and dark red bodies , that is the true old time breed, not the light colored ones that have been crossed up to increase production. And they do look like they should be laying anytime.
