THEY ARE LITERALLY DROWNING
Not only is that painful but it’s scary and stressful.

Shooting them properly kills them almost immediately. A friend of mine loves his animals but he shoots them when they have no chances of living anymore. They die immediately and aren’t in pain anymore.
