I didn't read all the way back, but is there an arguement on whether drowning or shooting is more cruel?

Drowning is 100% cruel. I would use my fist over drowning any animal. Shooting is quick and painless if you shoot right.

Let me just say this, with drowning,

imagine hold your breath till your lungs start burning then when you can't hold it anymore gasp for a breath but instead of gasping in oxygen and getting that sense of relief your lungs start painfully filling with water burning your insides like they are on fire.

Or, with one bullet,

BAM, you're gone. You didn't even feel it.
