She was asleep, shivering, mumbling, or singing or humming or something in her sleep

He landed on a stump nearby, he chanted an old, soothing poem.

"Rest your wings in heaven's air,
The weary flight to Paradise door
Is over now, you can rest,
But only on heaven's best.
Sing the song of airy flight,
never to remember Earth's weary plight."

She stirred at his song but what she was mumbling became clear

the rest was too mumbled to make out, but she repeated the verce, over, over, over..

He chuckled at the poem she was saying before continuing.

Her eyes opened bloodshot "SHUT UP" she grabbed his throat, and then opened her claws, stiffly, so he could breath "Shut up.."she repeated
