I just received an order from these guys on Thursday, so I figured I'd write a quick review, since there aren't any here yet, and I know that here is the first place I looked when I was debating whether to order from them or not.
Rock Creek Farms sells only Cornish X chicks, but at the lowest price I have seen from any hatchery. Shipping costs are very reasonable. They are in Washington, and apparently have just started shipping chicks recently. I ordered 50, and received 54. They were all alive upon pick-up, but 2 died after about 24 hours from unknown causes. Forty-eight hours out now, and I've had no more losses.
They were prompt about returning emails, and accommodating when my payment was late.
The only downsides I have are:
1) They only accept check or money orders at this time, you cannot pay online.
2) The chicks were shipped in a box with no bedding on the bottom. I think this would be awfully slippery for them and it is not good for absorbing waste.
All and all, I'm planning on ordering from them again.
