Rock solid crop on two pullets.

Three of my pullets crops are rock hard while the other 3 are normal feeling. I have been watching them for a few hours and no change. I took the food away. Do I remove the water? Is it normal? Im worried.

1st is flidgets crop
2nd is yangs
3rd is yayos

should I monitor again In the morning or is this something I should watch throughout the night ?

Leave the water. Check them first thing in the morning before they've had anything to eat. The crops should be flat and empty.

Just got back in from letting them out. All is well. Empty crops. No more swollen eye( from other post. Flidget had a swollen droopy eye). A half dead wasp fell out of the coop so I think flidget may have tried to eat it and lost. Everyone is good and happy this morning
