Rocks with Poop in roosting area???????

    There are pebbles like the ones on the ground in the run. Mixed with the poop where some hens sleep are they eating the rocks or carrying them up there I am lost please help pictures coming soon???????

    Chicken, like other birds, eat stones to aid with their digestion. If you aren't giving them grit, do so.

    I'm new to having chickens, but I give my hens grit, which are small pebbles. It helps them digest food. It's natural for them to eat it. When they start laying eggs some people give them oyster shells which are slightly bigger than grit. My suggestion is if they look like really big pebbles go buy a bag of chicken grit from feed store.
