But I've loved Silkie's all my life, and always wanted one.But D'Uccles are so pretty!
You know what?My mom said we will get even more chicks next year, so *deep breath* so I don't hurt anyone with D'uccle Colors(:lau) I will get a(IF I get them that is)A Silkie.

Whatever one you get is fine with me, I love em all. :P Only reason I'd say silkie is better is because of climate and they're more likely to be picked on, especially in the setup you'll have.

My silkies do excellent in cold weather and they are actually the ones who pick on other chickens! :gig

Well, good for you!! But she's gonna have a very small coop/run probably with chickens that'll be a bit bigger than the silkie, which is why I said that. :/

Who knows! I hope it goes well, whatever happens. :D
