Ok, all I've had are Muscovies, and I've not had them a week yet. They are awesome!! Do you want eggs and pets, eggs/meat or what?

Pekins can't fly, are friendly, good layers and meat birds too. Honestly before I had my Muscovies I think they would've been my first choice.

We're just going to put them in one of the pond areas, probably clip wings. Nothing special, we'll check fencing for holes and make sure it is predator proof.

GET BUFF AND FAUN AND WHITE RUNNER DUCKKKKSSS!
I've never had a Buff duck but they are soooo pretty
Anyway, Just have a tall fence.Oh, put deer-bird netting up for predators
Also, ONly Mallards and Roans(?) can fly.I think...

Lots of duck breeds fly. Mallards, Muscovies, Calls, etc. Pekins don't, Rouens don't - at least not much. Just to name a few.

Mallards do, but Rouen's are meat ducks. WAY too fat to fly.
