What is the difference?And the white birds that are used are in ceremonies do people use white homing pigeons?I have seen a web site calling them white doves but I would think you would want a homing pigeon.

Most places call them white doves because it sounds better then white homers. True rollers flip backwards so fast you can't count the revolutions, tumblers don't roll as fast.

White homer, for release.

They do call them dove, and they are in that family. Pigeon just sound bad to lots of people. pest, dirty birds,flying rats, and etc.
