In my English class we are going to read/act out parts of it in class, and today my teach gave us are parts and we had to write them all down and when we reach Romeo and Juliet she skipped them and read them at the end and Guess what! I got Juliet!!!!!

I just finished teaching "Romeo and Juliet" to my ninth graders. They loved it.

I'll give you a hint -- go get yourself a good translation into "modern English" if your teacher doesn't use one. Then, do a search on the Internet for the "bawdy" parts of that play. "Romeo and Juliet" is a lot more interesting when you have some resources to help you understand the jokes and the Early Modern English that Shakespeare wrote in.

It actually is rather funny, and a little naughty, if you know enough to know what's going on.
