He was supposed to be a "welbar" but it was from tractor supply and I doubt they have a rarer breed like that.

I have heard they have them now! Super weird to me, but hey, it's legit! I see no reason to doubt he's a Welbar. On another note, since they're autosexing, he would have been an obvious cockerel from the moment he hatched due to the white spot that was on his chick down when he hatched! In the future if you're looking for a pullet, pick one without the head spot

Looked welbar up... Looks like you’re right! Autosexing due to the CCLB in their genetics. They are an interesting breed/cross that I now can add to the list in my mind.
