I have heard they have them now! Super weird to me, but hey, it's legit! I see no reason to doubt he's a Welbar. On another note, since they're autosexing, he would have been an obvious cockerel from the moment he hatched due to the white spot that was on his chick down when he hatched! In the future if you're looking for a pullet, pick one without the head spot :)
Welp all my chicks listed as welbar have white spots.. they were listed as pullets must've been a mistake

Was Olive egger or Easter egger another possibility? He looks like a cream legbar mix to me, which feed stores have been selling as Easter eggers.

The reason I doubt he’s purebred is because he has one copy of the barring gene, while a pure barred rooster would have two copies, so would look lighter.
