Roo blocking coop entrance

We have a timeout area. Its a kiddie pool. They get in and can't figure out how to get out lol
😂my time out area well we had a tiny run and we made a whole new run attached to that. The new one I can walk into and the old one is the small area I cant walk in I have to crawl. We have a sliding door on that in between so he acts up he goes in there and the ladies are in the big run. He runs in there sometimes because he knows I ain't gonna chase him. Lol

Tonight two of them made it in without being roo blocked. Then it was a team effort. I placed the stick in the way of him standing at the door while my fiancee shuffled baby hens through the door. They finally started to gain interest in the roosts!

A few days. Maybe 4? They had roosts in their brooder coop but they never used them. They liked to sleep in a big pile on the floor. Theyve been sleeping in the nesting boxes since we moved them in with the others
That's not too long.
Sharing the coop is the last frontier.
Separate roost for youngers and blocking the nests can help.
Best of cLuck!
