Crowing
I have 2 bantam roos. A NH RED hen and 4 ducks
My roos are little under a year and I am the one that hatched them with 3 other bantams
Jinx is the one getting picked on. Here is a a little history
After my 5 bantam and light brahma was old enough I put them in a section on of the coop and blocked it off from my ducks and my other chickens
A racoon got in and took out a couple of my already established flock
I thought I got all the places the racoon could get in again. But one morning I opened the coop and my light brahma and 3 bantams were dead
Leaving jinx and Bob my other bantam roo
Jinx lost an eye. Hes a buff brahma batnam and the lowest on the totem pole
He get nervous going near the rest If they are together
He doesn't crow often but that just might be his breed
He is very sweet but the poor guy is just nervous most of the time I feel bad for him
I noticed a couple of the tip of his wing feathers are broke
He does sleep up on a shelf with my hen and other roo but sometimes they harass him when he tries to get up
So he will hide a under the shelf
I some times have help him down off the shelf in the morning he gets too nervous to go with the other
I am giving my duck to a farm soon so I am hoping this helps
Any other suggestions on how to make him feel more confident?
Thanks
