Yes, its just as the title says. My roo is in love with an inanimate object. A silver dog bowl. I watch him come out of the coop almost every morning and make his way to the dog bowl that sits out front. He does his dance around it and will grab ahold of it and do his thing. It is absolutely comical but Im wondering if this is common? Does anybody else have a roo that gets it on with inanimate objects? Is my roo broken?

That's hilarious! Maybe shiny bowls are the sex dolls of the rooster world?🤣

Yes it's fairly common. Does he have any hens?

I had a group of three Old English Game bantam cockerels in a pen adjacent to my mixed flock of large fowl hens (in the interest of them not being flattened, being so much smaller and younger than the hens). At one point my nephew's foam stomp rocket happened to fly in there. Those boys absolutely had their way with that rocket in every way they could before I got in there to remove it. 🤣 You just never know what will catch their fancy, I guess!

I bet his mama will claim he was dropped on his head... 😂
