That one I'm sure is a cockerel. With that breed the females are light. Only the males get the dark feathers. The Blue Cochin I'm still hoping it's a girl the hens also get red combs and wattles like the roos. The combs just don't grow as big.View attachment 1685191
View attachment 1685193Don't give up hope just yet... try to wait until the feathers are more pronounced. If long pointy hackle and saddle feathers show up along with the longer curved rooster tail, then you'll know. I had a pullet that turned bright red super early with big wattles and I was sure she would be a boy, but nope, she's a girl.

Agreed. The Cochin and the Faverolle are cockerels. The naked neck is a pullet.
Thank you so much for identifying my EE. I'm happy you were able to tell! I can post a few more pics of the other one.Agreed.
The last two pictured chickens both look like pullets but neither is the breed you said. I don't know what it is but the "Bantam Cochin" isn't a Cochin because her feet are white. The light makes it hard to to see other features.
Your EE is a Buff Brahma.
Go ahead. More pics are always welcome.Thank you so much for identifying my EE. I'm happy you were able to tell! I can post a few more pics of the other one.
