Roo or pullet?

Is anyone able to tell me if the Plymouth rocks pictures here are both pullets or is the lighter one a cockerel? They are 12 weeks old.

They're not plymouth rocks, since Rocks are not crested, and those guys are. However, going by barring, it looks like you have one pullet (the darker one) and one cockerel (the lighter one). If these guys are hybrids though the darker one might just be a single barred male as well, and not necessarily a pullet.

I just thought that by 12 weeks the cockerel would have more defined comb?
