Yep, looks like a pullet! This is a close up of the cream and brown ones comb
Just added some close ups of the cream and brown oneThe black and brown one is a definite cockerel. I would like to see photos of the cream and brown one's comb, especially in side profile. I think it could be a pullet.
Fingers crossed. Thank youYep, looks like a pullet!
One cockerel, & one pullet.Worried about my two favorite “pullets” one definitely showing sign she might be a he! I cannot have a roo in the city limits.... both came from a lady stating they were hatched from dark brown eggs. Neither look like Maran per say (to me)... but assume a mix that would be Oliver egger or sort. The brown and black one recently started getting the beautiful shiny deep red/brown feathers on back and wings. I also thought the tail seemed to be getting longer...(uh oh). On closer inspection “she” seems to be growing saddle feathers(I assume these are the pointy beautiful feathers on the back near the tail. The cream and brown one (with the grey beard) doesn’t seem to have any pointed feathers on her back, but worried about the tail shape?! They are both about 3-4 months old. What do you guys think?
Thank you. We think she’s the prettiest of the bunch. I really didn’t want her to be a cockerel. She has feathered feet as well...Yeah, I am pretty sure she is a pullet, she looks to be a faverolles mix! Such a pretty bird
Yeah, the feathered feet and coloring does remind me of a faverolles, she is such a pretty Easter egger!Thank you. We think she’s the prettiest of the bunch. I really didn’t want her to be a cockerel. She has feathered feet as well...
They look like pullets...Any of the others look like cockerels to you guys?
Yay!They look like pullets...
