I noticed white earlobes so it may be a white egg layer.I got the bird from a hatchery in California called Hilltop Farms. I will try to get a close up of the head. I'm so glad most of you think it's a hen!! I did not want to have to rehome a rooster.
Are you sure that's an australorp? Cause I see a pea comb, and they have straight comb. Do you have a better closeup picture of her comb from the front?
Either way, no wattles at all at 11 weeks, light pink comb = pullet.
Andalusians have single combs. Single comb is recessive to pea comb, so pea combs can’t pop up in single comb populations without one parent having a pea comb.I have a Blue Andalusian that has a similar stature. I think they can breed blue, black or splash. Just an idea.
