Roo???

I got the bird from a hatchery in California called Hilltop Farms. I will try to get a close up of the head. I'm so glad most of you think it's a hen!! I did not want to have to rehome a rooster.

I noticed white earlobes so it may be a white egg layer.

Are you sure that's an australorp? Cause I see a pea comb, and they have straight comb. Do you have a better closeup picture of her comb from the front?

Either way, no wattles at all at 11 weeks, light pink comb = pullet.

Definitely a pea comb. I think it's a colored egg layer (aka EE) of some sort. Often pea comb is tied to the blue egg gene (there are a few exceptions, but she doesn't look like them). What other genes she has is anyone's guess, and will determine egg color. (blue, green, olive, ??)
