rookie present!

Hello all and pleasant clicks from south east NC! Just started this chicken keeping thing last October with 2 hens and a Roo. Since then the roo met his untimely demise(which is sad but I legally shouldn't have had him) and I have been given 4 more hens(haven't learned their breeds het). I will be definitely looking for lots of info as the time goes on but this site looks like its full of that! Thanks and I'm glad to be here.
