Roost space, coop space, ventilation, and amount of nest boxes

Hi! My friend is building a coop/run and it's been so long since I built mine, I don't remember minimums for roost bar length/bird, coop sq ft of floor space/bird, ventilation sq inches/bird, and how many birds/nest box?!?!? THANX for your help!!

If what I have read is correct:
4 sqft min in the coop
10 sqft min in the run
1 sqft of ventilation per bird
1 foot of roosting space per bird
1 nest box per 3 hens

Wasn’t the ventilation based on square footage rather than birds.
In other words 1 square foot of ventilation per 10 square of coop.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Glad you added the 'min', wanted to accentuate it.
These are decent guidelines....
....but many variables exist so no hard numbers are really applicable.

Ventilation should be 10% of total floor space, and above the roosting area to keep drafts off of them.

I've read min 10% of floor space or 1 sq ft per bird whichever is greater.
