Ok I have this rooster his name is JJ.. He was hatched out here by my Red star Momma and RIR daddy Jake. Momma is still with us but Jake was a mean boy. So found him a new home. Anyways I have seen JJ. Put his head down and walk backwards. He usually goes about 2 to 3 feet and then stops and goes about his business. Does this sound like. Something is wrong. Or is he trying to be dominant? He has never shown aggression towards me or my kids. The onlly aggressive thing he does is goes after my once alpha roo Jack. (JJ has taken that position BTW). And I have only seen him do it. A few times' but not sure if he does it all the time or not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Good question. Mine started doing this when he was injured and separated from the hens. He lost an eye and I put it down to the injury (eye/head) and the irritation he was feeling there. But now that he's healed, he still does it some. Anyone else have any suggestions?
