Rooster acting weird!?!

1. I worm them with wazine.
2. He's the only rooster we own. He crowed several times not long after we got him, but has since stopped.
3. My hens are all bantams. I have 1 polish hen, 1 polish frizzled hen, and 1 cochin hen. They are roughly 9 months. They are not much bigger than him.
4. I feed them a mixture of cracked corn and Dumor layer feed along with oyster shell.
I can try vitamins. He sleeps inside their coop snuggled with the ladies. I spied him shivering today and it's 72° leading me to think it's neurological.

Seriously I had a frizzle for two weeks. The hens were brutal to him and he acted much like he had six pots of coffee in an hour. I rehomed him to a silkie only household where he lived the life of riley indoors and he thrived. I have BIG birds so no adjusting here I can't bodyguard 24/7.:)

Well... I guess he does have some feathers around his feet. I'll trim them and see if that works. Here's a photo of him from November.
Are his feathers brittle and sparse; having bare spots? Do you have other pictures as what I see could be a frazzle that has two frizzle genes. Frazzles can have physical problems. I have one that hatched blind in one eye, has brittle feathers, and bare spots. Really kind of odd to look at.

I've also read conflicting info on bringing them inside if they're cold. I try to get some of my info from Lisa Steele.

His feathers aren't brittle. They're pretty soft. Here's some of him with our ladies.

Chickasson I don't have any issues with my frizzle hen. The hens that lay don't pick on him anymore. My polish is SUPER mean to basically everything. He is the weirdest rooster. He would HAVE to go to a home with younger bantams.

@Chickassan that's sort of pitiful, but funny too! Love the description.
I don't know how this breed is "made" so wonder if they are prone to neurological issues like Crested birds?

@doodlebug0310 Do you mix the cracked corn with the layer feed? If you do, then stop that:) Make the layer feed available free choice and give a very small amount of cracked corn as a treat. What happens if you mix other things with the feed, it dilutes the nutritional content, usually bringing the protein percentage down. Birds are also likely to just pick out the corn (like candy) and not eat the layer, so they can end up nutritionally deficient.
