Rooster? Barred Rock?

hello!

9 week old chickens and wondering if they are roosters? Also, are they barred rocks? Thanks!!

This is indeed a cockerel. Not a BR, some kind of mix most likely. Where did you get it?

Thanks!! We got them from a family friend and hatched them from eggs. I believe the hens were Barred Rock and the rooster was Buff Orpington, so they are a mix

Any chicken at 9 weeks that has red comb and wattles is a rooster. This is mine at 11 weeks
