I have 7 ac chicks brooding and another 5 in the bator due in 7 days along w some f2OE, and blue birchen marans and some BCM and hopefully a couple light Brahms.

This is from today, hatched on 12/18. They seem to be a lot more frisky towards each other than our "brown egg layer" chicks were last year. They act like little roosters by kicking their feet at each other.

An Easter egger rooster I had may be part BLRW too. Handsome but low on the totem. He went to a smaller friends coop. 8 hens or so, and became a big man in that coop.

That definitely looks like a AC roo. They are kinda jumpy little birds, though I don't have time to handle them too much. Good luck with yours.
