Thanks.Any idea if and when he will start crowing?Im dreading that moment which means I will need to get rid of him because neighbours are chook haters.

He will start to crow. All cockerels sexually mature at different rates, so it’s hard to pinpoint exactly they will crow/mate. Some crow as early as 3 weeks, and some crow as late as 9 months, and possibly even longer. Do you have any other roosters or cockerels with him? I’m guessing he might crow at 6 months.

They will crow eventually. If they never crow, they aren't roosters. I would start to prepare to find them a home, because eventually they will start crowing, and your neighbors will report you because you can't find them homes fast enough.

Hi everyone I’m trying to post but not sure how to.I will give it a go.My rooster is now nearly 20 weeks old and hasn’t crowed yet which I’m happy about.He is a very big and tall boy but I don’t know what breed he is.
