I think his leg might be broken because it seems like he can not use it below the middle joint and the joint is swollen about twice the size the other one is.It seems like he has no control over it.

Yes. Can you post a closeup of the bad leg? Maybe wet his leg feathers so they can be pulled back from the wound you're talking about.

Can he stand on the leg? If so, it's not broken. It could be a complication from the leg mites, infection perhaps.

I can't take a picture right now but he cannot stand up on his leg.It's just limp

Oh,well is there anyway I could get him up and walking again? I knew he had scaly leg mites before and we put Vaseline on his legs and put anti leg mite powder in their coop.But he still seemed to get worse over time.Is there a possibility that he broke his foot and it got infected?

@Brandon14 can you post different photos - ideally the swelling of the joint and a full body photo of him.
The first photo you posted - was that after the leg was washed?
How old is your rooster?
What type of food/treats do you feed?

I do agree that he has scaly leg mites - the soaking of the legs, gently scrubbing the debris off and application of vaseline should help with that. Look through his feathers for poultry lice and mites as well.

Since he is declining further, his joint is swelling and he seems to have no control over one leg, I would suspect he has more going on than SLM. Is he eating/drinking o.k.? What does his poop look like?

If he is laying around and not able to stand, you can try placing him in a sling to see if that helps keep him more upright so he is more comfortable. He will need to be monitored while in the sling. Below is the basic concept, but if you google chicken sling you will find a lot of images to give you inspiration.

The first image is his good leg and the second is his bad leg.His poo is green.I feed him corn and crumbles.

How old is he?

Both legs don't look too good, but the second one is worse. I do see SLM, but do you see any scabbing along the foot pad or toes of the bad leg?

I would soak both legs/feet in epsom salts, apply vaseline, a+d ointment or triple antibiotic ointment to the legs. Keep him on clean dry bedding.
The soakings, I don't think will cure his lameness. Green poop can be a number of things - nutritional deficiency, infection, disease like Marek's and possibly worms are a few that come to mind. If you have vet care that is always best.

See that he is drinking well, offer poultry vitamins and his normal feed.

He is about 1 year old and he eats and drinks extremely well.I think he might have caught his leg in something because he has outward growing spurs instead of inward.And maybe he panicked and hurt it somehow.I see no scabs on his leg.
