He's targeting the ones his own age because the older ones aren't going to put up with his crap. If you have the ability to pen him next to them then that is a sold plan. It allows him to still be part of the group, yet not physically interact with them. He SHOULD calm down, but it'll likely be a while. At 8 months old and going into spring he's going to be a pile of hormones.
