Long story short, I was given 5 Silkie roosters. They hated my bantam flock who was working so nicely. They bullied my beautiful RIR/Silkie/Cochin and completely removed his feathers on his head and neck.
So I decided to make a bantam rooster flock to put them all in and save my hens from overmating.
As mean as these Silkies were, I expected terrible results.

Instead...

The fighting and bullying has stopped! They are coexisting happily. They're even in view of hens! My RIR/Silkie/Cochin has begun crowing back feathers, so I have them all on Feather Fixer feed to help.

All doubts are gone, Rooster Flocks rock! They really do stop fighting when hens are no longer in reach.
I will be doing lots of observations on behaviors and such as I have 2 Rooster Flocks. I'll post them here.

Also! Anything else I should be doing to help my little guy grow his feathers back faster? He's fed Feather Fixer and eggs.

Something I noticed is even though this rooster flock is confined in a run, they still look out for the hens free ranging. A vulture flew over and the bantam rooster flock started making loud purring/growling noises which caused the hens to dive for cover! I was impressed.
That’s so cool. I really miss have a cockerel/cock in my flock they add so much interaction that you just don’t see in an all pullet/hen flock.

That's why I have so many roosters, there's more to them and it's very fascinating! My hens lo to be held, but other than that they have very basic instincts and interactions with each other.

I love dinosaurs, so I tend to over calculate things and applying them to what dinosaurs may have interacted like :D

Myself, I see the other side, the more agresixe will mate the lesser roosters. IF a hen/pullet gets in with them they will mate it even after its dead and cold. IF a grandkid tosses in a stuffed animal they will take turns on it, or even a spot on the ground.
NO thanx not here, not again, I will cull, they act so much better in the freezer!.
