Rooster Flock Observations

That's what everyone does. This is more for the people who want to choose life and work with their roosters like they would a problem dog. I'm seeing the other side in not all roosters are bad, they all deserve a chance. Which is why I made this thread, so people can see how it works and how amazing roosters can be.
But I don't expect everyone to just suddenly stop killing extra roosters, like I said this is for those that don't want to do that.

I choose life, my own, and a flock of only roosters is not a good thing. If I kept ever rooster I would have no place for hens, half of every hatch is male.
Eggs or legs nobody eats for free!

I have five Naked Neck chicks that are 11 weeks old.
Three are cockerels.
They’re awesome!
I love their personalities and beautiful colors.
I’m hoping I can keep them all but I’m a little worried about noise from crowing.
Interestingly, my bantam Cochin is the same age but he’s the only one that crows right now.
My boys haven’t been too aggressive and my lead boy, Conan, has actually been doing a lot of grown up chicken things lately.
He does a call that makes all the chicks (there’s 8 total) run to him.
I’ve also seen him do alarm calls and even tidbitting occasionally.

They are so cute! I love their names
The crowing I think is part personality trait, I have a Houdan that literally never stops crowing. He's in a roofed pen with my Polish since I have lots of hawks. That one houdan crows more than both my rooster flocks combined in a day. So you'll just have to wait and see how much each one likes hearing his own voice

Rooster Flocks are good for us who love them as family, obviously someone who raises for eggs isn't going to want one. It's for us who love our chickens no matter what
