Rooster gone, hen stopped laying

We recently had to get rid of our rooster because he was becoming very aggressive with first the kids then adults, too. Kids stopped wanting to hang out with the chickens. One of our hens has stopped laying since he left but is showing no signs of any illness or molt. Is she doing this in response to his departure? Will she ever start laying again? She's an Americana and was the first to start laying at 16 weeks.

Hey,Mine stopped laying too .but back to doing it ...with no rooster of their own..give it a few days....... good luck.keep us posted.
