When I change out shavings, they are all scared to death to walk on them, like they are hot coals.

I know they don't like change, but he really can't be THAT attached to all his poop!

I've never encountered that in my roos. I do have one hen that constantly tries to get in while I'm cleaning, and then when I'm finally done goes in and screams about it for a solid few minutes when I'm done. Not egg song, not food noises- just extremely noisy protest. Perhaps this is the same phenomenon?

Does it sound anything like this? Rocky has been doing this for at least a year now and always seems to find the places that give him the best acoustics!
