Rooster has a nasty looking comb

Happy New Year, everyone!
My Barr Rock rooster has this very painful and nasty looking comb. He kept shaking his head while walking around. At first I thought he got a bad frostbite but when his comb turned yellow I got worry. Maybe he got some kind of fungal infection ? What do you think? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's just the cutting off part(Half) of, or removing the entire comb, or wattles, or earlobes off with sharp scissors, such as surgical scissors.

There maybe bleeding which can be stopped pretty easily with Flour, or a mixed bag of flour, & cornstarch.
