I live in southern New Hampshire and recently it has been very cold, -30 degrees cold. I have 9 hens and a rooster. All of my hens seem to have no frost bite, however the rooster's comb has begun to get black and scabby. I'm worried it could be harmful to the rooster. Is there anything I can do to help? And is frost bite bad for the rooster?

Thank you for the help!
