Rooster has a big squishy lump on his face. We've lanced and drained it three times - lots of nasty goo came out. It keeps filling back up. Lump is so big, his eye is pushed back in his head. Any ideas on how to cure this?

If it is between his eye and his nostril it is in the sinus. It can be from a respitory infection, which I warn you it can be very contagious. Could be from injury. If it has puss and goo in it, it probably has some left somewhere that is being left behind. Puss turns into a hard ball and will not heal with it there. Injections of Tylan 50 just under skin of shoulders, rinse out sinus with saline or tylan 50 and make sure all puss is gone. Keep him separated incase it is contagious. Look up MG virus or Coryza

After lancing it did you flush with peroxide?
This spring one of our roos got pretty beat up by another roo. We cleaned him up but he did get an infection, (puffy left side of his head near his wattles). We did have to lance it also but then followed up with flushing it out twice daily to begin with, then once a day for a couple more days. He is fine now.
