Rooster having trouble walking

I gave him scrambled eggs with poultry drench just once but I will do this again.

I rubbed oil on his legs twice so far. Should I do that more regularly?

No other birds are showing any symptoms. I think I’m going to not crate him this morning just to see if he eats anything. He is crowing like normal. Maybe a good sign?

I’ve kept him out of the crate all day. No improvement on the limping. His crop is empty so he’s not eating. Not sure what to do.

Keep with the oiling of his legs, is he eating the scrambled eggs with Nutri Drench? Drinking water? I feel your frustration & desperation Hang in there

He didn’t want to come out of the coop today. I picked him up and put him outside. I haven’t heard him crow once this morning.

I had to force water down his throat yesterday because I don’t think he’s drinking either.

He crowed! And his crop is full right now! Still limping though.

It's been a week, is the limping worst or better?

The limping is about the same. I notice when he stands he doesn't put any weight on his leg.

I would keep him confined to crate most of the day to 'force' him to rest.
It can take weeks for a strained/sprained leg to totally heal up.
