Rooster head trauma

Getting the eyes opened as suggested will help the most.
He's been beat up by another rooster it looks like to me.

Continue to flush the eyes with saline, remove any bubbles or pus, then apply your ointment in the eyes and surrounding facial tissue. When I've had birds fight and it involves the eyes, inevitably there's a bit of bubbles or discharge a day or two after, likely due to debris from feet and of course blood getting into the eyes.

The comb should heal up fairly well, just keep a bit of ointment or vaseline on it to help it stay a little moist and flexible.

Keep him eating/drinking. If he has any dried blood or debris in the beak, take a wetted Qtip and wipe it out.

You may have to house him separately from the other rooster(s) from now on to avoid future injuries.
Thank you for the info that helps a lot,I put warm packs on his eyes and gently cleaned his one side up enough for him to open it,and that made a big difference,it even looked like his head swelling came down some as well. Then he just started eating on his own ,and I even heard him burp a little which I did not know they could do.So I gave him a break after he ate ,then in the evening time I warm packed the other eye and gently washed it,it did not open so I gently pulled lid down and I didn't see his eyeball, maybe I did not see it right ,may be it there and got pushed down I don't know but I'm afraid it's gone.i will look again when I get home from work.oh one more good news ,it's day four and my son called me at work to let me know he was crowing ,that was so awesome I even heard him in the background!! It was a good strong crow! So when I get back home I'll share a picture of him now.

Moistened chicken feed is a good balanced diet. When one is needing to eat, I also have offered cooked egg, and have alternated with rinsed tuna or canned cat food. Tempting them to eat is key, then using a a balanced chicken feed.
What do you recommend as a good balanced chicken feed? Cuz I know they need more than corn right?

What do you normally feed?

You have hens too?

For me, I like an All Flock type feed and provide oyster shell free choice. You can also feed a Layer Feed to mature birds. A lot depends on what's available in your area and your budget.
