Howdy y'all! So my chicken, Millie, is supposed to be a hen, and everyone is saying rooster, BUT, she's acting like a hen and when i pet her, she squats. Now, I've read that roosters dont do that...soooo... What do y'all think? I'm wondering if she is a she and just looks like a he

Hmm.. sounds like a hen lol. Hens usually squat bc it means that they’re being submissive or that they want for the rooster to get on top of them so.. it’s probably a hen. Do you have a picture of your chicken?

My Sebright rooster squatted to me 2 days ago to show submission.

She certainly looks 100% rooster but acts exactly like a hen, although she is being mean to the little ones, i dont knoe what to do, she keeps chasing and pecking them, and they're terrified of her. Could someone alos please help me with that? I'm scared one of them will get seriously hurt.. I dont know if its hormones or what, but they've been together about ..well, almost 2 weeks now..

Like i said, she LOOKS 100% rooster, pointy feathers and all, but.. Her behavior is SO hen like.. I'm not sure if i have a hermaphrodite or what.. But she is 16 weeks old tomorrow. She is mean to the little hens, (12 weeks) but she is super sweet to me. She is a cuddler

I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could help me.. 😂 For my babies, I'm 99.999999999% sure they're all hens, but this one.. I'm not sure.. Easter eggers are hard! But my babies are Barred rock, Delaware, and Rhode Island Red.

A cockerel. Do you see the red leakage on the wings? That is a cockerel only trait. You can also see plenty of sharp feathers many places.
