Thanks for all the good thoughts you sent our way for the hens' sake and mine.
Thanks for having subscribed to this thread and doesn't it just "gettcha" when we pour our hearts and worry and thoughts and advice if we have any, into some one else's problem and they never update you as to how it all turned out and what they learned from the experience to share it with others?

My rooster tore up my hens head this morning .Went right into the nest while she was laying an egg..This is the meanest rooster I have never had ..He is my BCM .I have 2 of these guys.One is more aggressive than the other.Pretty sure ones going .

That's weird how hens lose feathers on their backs, with my hen who gets mounted, there's only a small loss of feather on top of her head..... not on her back like that!
