Rooster in Critical Health

Pics
Take the food/water out of her cage tonight, then check her crop in the morning. It should be empty.
If it's not, then let us know.
Her crop has some water and a hard little ball and she hasn’t ate yet or drank I have given her some mls of water. I don’t want to cull nor does my mom since she’s telling me what if there’s a chance she recovers and she killed her before she could. She has been like this for 9 days

Don't OVER-water her. Give her about 1-2ml of fluid every couple of hours. Push your mom to get them to a vet. They really need it.
I understand that a vet would possibly be able to isolate what’s going on, but there are other factors to consider.
1. “Avian vet” doesn’t necessarily mean “chicken vet”. They may only treat tropical birds such as parrots.

2. We don’t know OP’s family’s financial situation. Practically speaking, it costs a whole lot less to replace a $10 bird than it does to take them to the vet. So unless OP has a job and the extra cash to pay a bet bill, pushing Mom to take the bird in may cause a family issue. No chicken is worth that.

If getting a vet isn’t an option what should I do.

Wow. That's a tough one! There are a number of different ways to euthanize a chicken, but only you can determine if you're prolonging the inevitable AND causing the chicken to suffer, OR actually helping it get better.

If you're only prolonging suffering, you should put the chicken down. If you're willing to help the bird to regain its strength and health, then I think you really need to get the birds (rooster and hen) to a vet ASAP.

I understand you're at the mercy of your parents, so I'd only say try to talk to them about this. Right now, we're going on a week of the birds basically just hanging on. That's no way for any living creature to have to exist. So, whatever you do, I think you need to do it IMMEDIATELY.

I really wish you could get them to a vet; that would be the VERY BEST thing you could do for both the rooster and the hen.

I hear you, and of course there are other factors to consider, but these birds have been suffering for days on end in Texas heat.

Sure, it does cost less to replace a bird, but some of us don't look at life as a financial equation or a cost trade-off.

Finally, if a child trying to get help from their parent regarding a vet bill causes problems in the family, then the "family" communication problem tells me that they probably shouldn't have chickens (or any other animal) in the first place.

Leaving this to a 16 year old child to struggle through is unconscionable in my world... :-(

i have had 4 sick chickens, two had clogged crops and 3/4 survived, if i am to help i kind of need to have an idea of what the situation is... is she "throwing up" when she puts her head down? that was what was wrong with mine. she lost so much weight.

We have used over thousands on them in a year that’s why. I have had two hens suffer. One with wet pox she had the loudest breathing and it scars me as well a hen that suffered of cocci but all wet from diarrhea and terrible sneezing and eyes closed
