My rooster passed away this morning I should’ve sent you these pics of the meds before. He was fine before going to the vet. I told him that the meds are having reverse effects on him he’s not eating but he was like I’ll give you probiotics he’ll be fine. This was the main reason I didn’t want to go to a vet because they are a huge failure when it comes to treating birds. I only went for his broken leg. And it just ugh. Thank you so much for sharing the knowledge with me.
Yes they are garbage I didn’t want to go there but as his leg was injured I had no choice I wanted to bandage him myself but my family wasn’t letting me and someone wrote here that I should take him to a vet for his leg. It feels like I pushed him to death. He was in a lot of pain in the end. Should’ve posted here before than going to a vet. Previously also vets killed a lot of my pet kittens it’s like we are helpless when our pets fall sick.Oh gurl I'm so sorry Indian vets are horrible treating birds my Chick shammu is also a victim of a vet we only contact the vet for weak legs and 3 days later he died on April 11 2021 then a bird died two days ago who was a Flamingo species bird Rescued by my friend @Tanya22 vet did surgery on his leg and he died
I don't believe on vets I trust on BYC here people guide u with all the knowledge and love .

He told me to give 0.2 ml for painkiller and 1 ml calciumOne thing keep in your mind that DOGs CAT label Medicine will never able to work on Chickens .
Chickens are just like other birds with complex system they need Bird label drugs lite and very small in quantity . If the pack suggest 10mg I give only 5 mg because I know how it effects just like humans we feel sometimes very bad after Medicine so as them just they can't speak
1ml ..wtf 1ml is enough to fail the heart I hate these vets
It's very easy to treat chickens at home even in severed injury I did surgeries at home many times help my fellow chicken keeper friends who are in Delhi no one take to vets here because we know how they treat they are Illiterate in the name of veterinary .
Really had no idea my poor baby. I hate vets too but at that time I was feeling like I should do something to help him.
I am only left with regrets now I miss my rooster so much. When he injured himself he used to sleep next to me and used to wait till the time I woke up and got so cheerful when he saw me awake. Now that he’s gone it feels empty.
I understand your grief I lost a baby chick in April 2021 with same circumstances he won't make it after medication he became all worse I miss him ..but someone Demise is sometimes eye opener
