Our rooster was found with a bruise (skin looks green-yellow and dry) under his left wing and it looked like a dog (the same dog that attacked our other three hens) had tried to bite him. He was out of his cage just standing in one spot acting very strange. As of now he has got to be completely traumatized because he most likely saw the attacks happening. Any suggestions for his wing?

can he move it, or is it in a normal position?if he is traumatized he also needs quiet and rest.

give him some electrolytes and vitamins..

keep an eye on his droppings..watch for any signs of blood..

you can try giving him some aspirin for inflammation..(plain aspirin, no substitute)
1 (80 mg) pill crushed into a quart of water..
don't give aspirin if you suspect any internal injury..(indicated by blood in droppings)
watch for signs of fever..(hot comb and hot under wings, and other signs of illness..lethargy, lack of appetite, etc.)
