Dear everyone! Please help, so far no one could advise me. I have 2 roosters and 2 hens. 5 month olds. One of the marans rooster started to have too much saliva and seemed to find it harder to swallow but was fine looking great happy running round, crowing very loud etc. Left them with grandparents for 2 weeks and when we picked them up yesterday i noticed the combe was hanging and he lost a lot of weight. Green poo and tongue is swollen. He did eat today but can see it is difficult for him to swallow
Vet does not know! Listed many things, bacteria or virus or fungus or parasite….anyone knows what it could be? The comb is cold and hanging not like before hot and straight up. Otherwise seems lively, running, eyes are clear , feathers shining .
Any advice would be appreciated .
Many thanks
