Rooster is having trouble breathing

I have a cornish rooster that i have had for a little bit now and i was wondering if anyone could help me. It started yesterday when I had gone to give them some food. I gave them food and not long after he sounded like he had trouble breathing. I noticed that his waddle began to darken a little bit and now i dont know what to do. When he coughs and he makes a weird sound. I am not sure its an infection but id like some of your feedback. It all started yesterday and i was already planning on culling him for the 4th of july but now idk if i should or shouldn't. He isnt lathargic he just looks like he tries a little hard to breath. He does this every now and then when he eats way too fast too. Its just that yesterday he started to do it worse.

It seems like he has a respitory infection. Coughing, trouble breathing, and darkening of the wattles are all symptoms of it. I think he might have avian influenza, but not 100% sure. Here's a website that shows the different types of respitory infections:
