Thank you for all your kind words, I will be finding a new one soon. It is so quiet in the hen house now, no rooster to crow, didn't realize how much of a difference it makes.

Yes, it does make it quiet. I lost my rooster last fall, I still miss the crowing and of course, watching him with the girls. I'm looking forward to having another fella this year.

@flyingroosterranch I know this is an old post but I have a rooster with the same looking soars. Can you share how the vet was able to diagnose the cancer? I'm thinking of taking mine to the vet and could use any information you may have received. Thank you and I hope you found another beautiful rooster.
